Dear Folks,
As a Founder and Chair of Sudeep Tanwar's Research Group(ST Lab), I am pleased to share the 2022 Annual Report detailing its R&D activities, outcomes, and community services. For full details, please visit: http://sudeeptanwar.in/
The quick highlights of our research activities and outcomes in 2022 are as follows:
• Members of the ST Lab have authored/coauthored 96 research publications, including 54 SCI-indexed journal papers (including 06 IEEE Transactions, 04 IEEE Magazines, IEEE IoT Journal, many more) and 42 international conference papers, including ICC, GLOBECOM, INFOCOM, MOBICOM, and CITS.
• Mr. Rajesh Gupta member of ST Lab submitted his PhD thesis. Outcomes of PhD research work have been published in IEEE TNSM, PhyCom-Elsevier, IJCS-Wiley, IEEE ICC, and IEEE GLOBECOM. Currently, he is working as a full-time Assistant Professor in Nirma University, Gujarat, India
• The Lab successfully hosted research activities of over 47 scholars, which include 05 Ph.D. students and 42 UG/PG students.
• Dr Sudeep Tanwar (PI), Dr. Tarjni Vyas (Co-PI), Prof. Shivani Desai (Co-PI), and Prof. Anuja Nair (Co-PI), received an externally funded research project of 17.83 Lakhs from ISRO, Banglore.
• The lab leader Dr. Sudeep Tanwar received a Research Consultancy Award, under the Scheme of Faculty Awards & Incentives, of Rs. 50,000/- for publishing Research papers in high impact journals (IF >5) and books in reputed publishers.
• Members of ST Lab (Dr Pronaya Bhattacharya, Prof Anuja Nair, Mr. Rajesh Gupta, Mr. Nilesh Kumar Jadav) have received 03 Best Research Paper Award for their excellent research contributions from IEEE SCIoT 2022, ICIEM-2022.
• The lab leader Dr. Sudeep Tanwar has published 07 Books in Springer, Elsevier, IET, and Taylors & Francis including one authored Textbook with Springer entitled “Blockchain Technology: From Theory to Practice”.
• The lab leader Dr. Sudeep Tanwar has delivered Invited Talks, including 04 Keynote addresses, 30 Expert Lectures, and chaired 12 Sessions in various conferences/workshops/FDP held across the globe. Also, Dr Pronaya Bhattacharya member of ST Lab delivered 01 Keynote address and chaired 07 sessions in international conferences.
• The lab leader Dr. Sudeep Tanwar is recognized as a Secured 37th rank in the list of “Top cited Scientists (Computer Science & Electronics-scientist based on h-index, citations, and number of DBLP documents) within India” as per Research.com.
• The lab leader Dr. Sudeep Tanwar is ranked 12th in India among World’s Rising Stars of Science in 2022 as per Research.com.
• Dr Sudeep Tanwar, Dr. Aparna Kumari, and Mr. Rajesh Gupta have been included in the list of the World's Top 2% researchers complied by Stanford University after assessing scientists worldwide for research carried out over their careers across all disciplines in 2021.
• Members Dr. Sudeep Tanwar and Mr. Rajesh Gupta have been felicitated by Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India, for their research achievements in the last one year (2021-22).
• Undergraduate alumni of ST Lab got admissions to top universities such as U C Davis, University of Barkley, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Arizona, State California University, and many more.
• Members of the Lab have led community efforts such as (a) the organization of conferences (e.g., IC4S, ETCCS, and FTNCT) and (b) Associate Editor, IJCS-Wiley (SCI, IF:2.047), Associate Editor, Cyber Security and Applications-Elsevier, COMCOM-Elsevier, (SCI, IF: 3.167), Security and Privacy- Wiley, Frontiers in Blockchain, and Journal of Surveillance, Security and Safety.

One of the much-needed survey paper of a B Tech CSE Student, member of Sudeep Tanwar's Research Group (ST Lab) (Nirav Madhani), on "Blockchain for Industry 5.0" has been published. The article presents a first-of-its-kind survey on Blockchain as a security enabler in Industry 5.0.
Includes the key drivers, and potential applications, and also proposed an architectural vision of BC-based Industry 5.0 in diverse applicative verticals.
Presents solutions that would assist industry practitioners, academicians, and researchers to drive novel BC-assisted solutions in Industry 5.0 verticals.

The shift has been attributed to the design of hyper-cognitive systems, integration of virtual and extended reality, digital machinery prototyping....

Feeling motivated to share the Research Outcomes of Sudeep Tanwar's Research Group (ST Lab) (http://sudeeptanwar.in/) as per the recently released SCIE, SSCI-JCR 2022.
Cumulative Impact Factor (published papers only): 957.52
Number of SCI Journals: 160 (including 31 Transactions)
Highest Impact factor: 12. 777 (03 articles in IEEE WCM-12.777 and 04 articles in IEEE TII-11.648).
Average Impact factor/paper: 5.9845
This is possible due to dedicated mentoring by the mentors of Sudeep Tanwar's Research Group (ST Lab), joint work with collaborators (across the globe), and the hard work of our loving students of UG/PG/Ph.D. The long way we have to go..........

August 2021 data-update for "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators" Citation metrics are widely used and misused. My First Ph.D. student Aparna Kumari defended her thesis. Prof. Sudip Misra from IIT KGP was the examiner. Aparna did excellent work in four years of stay with Sudeep Tanwar's Research Group (ST Lab) and contributed papers in conferences like IEEE INFOCOM (Core A*), IEEE ICC, IEEE Globecom, IEEE CITS, and journals like Wiley Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, IEEE Networks, IEEE Wireless Communication, Elsevier Computer Networks, Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications, etc. to name a few. Aparna already joined Assistant Professor Position at Ganpat University - GUNI, India.
