This 8-day orientation & exploration workshop is designed for those who wish to begin their journey into the world of Indian Classical Dance with clarity, discipline and artistic understanding.

Through guided practice, observation and interactive sessions, participants will explore:
• Body awareness & conditioning
• Rhythm, posture & movement flow
• Basic Adavus and coordination
• Hasta, Drishti & expression
• Grace, discipline and artistic presence
• The beauty and essence of Bharatanatyam

No prior dance training is required.

• The artistic and emotional dimensions of musical practice
