We recently visited the Grand Master Hokusai's Exhibition of Ukiyo-e Classics, the Manga Hokusai Manga Art Show with Contemporary Creatives of Celebrated Manga Artists, held at the AMA in Ahmedabad, India. The exhibition showcased a wide range of Hokusai's works, from his well-known "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji" series to his lesser-known manga pieces.

The exhibition was notable for its presentation of Hokusai's works alongside those of contemporary manga artists, providing a fascinating contrast between traditional ukiyo-e art and modern manga. The sections where Hokusai's works were reinterpreted by contemporary artists were particularly impactful.

Overall, the exhibition offered a unique and memorable look at Hokusai's works and their influence on contemporary manga. The blending of traditional and contemporary art was a highlight.
