*Empowering Educators, Transforming Classrooms*
Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS), in collaboration with *Tata Trusts* and the *Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation* (AMC), successfully hosted the *Teacher Training Programme Launch* on 8th April — a meaningful step toward strengthening student-centric learning in government schools.
The day featured an engaging pedagogy-focused session led by Dr. Anju Chazot and Dr. Pascal Chazot, equipping 47 AMC educators with innovative, interdisciplinary approaches through *three dynamic modules* — Healthy Vegetable Salad, Paper Plane and Holistic Progress Card — delivered via an AI-enabled, experiential learning platform.
The formal inauguration began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by reflections on classroom implementation and a felicitation honoring contributors across academic, administrative, and technical teams. A special highlight was the *certificate distribution,* celebrating teachers who are now ambassadors of this progressive pedagogy.
Looking ahead, MGIS aims to expand this initiative across Gujarat — nurturing classrooms that inspire curiosity, creativity and meaningful learning.

occasion of the 80th anniversary of its publication, as well as the commemoration of the fiftieth
anniversary of the death of André Malraux.
Our TCTE French students participated in the Grande Dictée and enjoyed a unique experience of taking dictation from the clip that was sent by IFI.

A magical morning of storytelling and creativity was brought to life on March 24, 2026, as our Grade 1 students took to the stage for a spectacular puppet show performance. Inspired by the book “Gobble You Up!” by Gita Wolf, the students embarked on a multi-dimensional journey that combined traditional art with modern performance.
Throughout the project, these young learners explored every part of the production, from narration and voice recording to stage decoration and invitation design.
A centerpiece of their work was this immersive show, where students personally drew each character and carefully integrated Mandana art—a traditional Rajasthani folk form—into the designs of the animals.
This experience was a beautiful reflection of their hard work, transforming a simple story into a vibrant celebration of culture, collaboration, and creativity.
Kudos to the team who led it and all those involved. 👏🥳

The IB MYP Personal Project Exhibition was a true celebration of learning, bringing together parents, teachers, and students, as Grade 10 students showcased the culmination of a year-long journey of independent inquiry, creativity, and skill development.
From mythology, storytelling, comics, and original art to music, cooking, sports, the stock market, technology, hydroponics, and more—the range and depth of exploration were impressive.
The Personal Project remains one of the most impactful experiences in a student’s schooling. It challenges students to think critically, manage their own learning, and apply a wide range of ATL skills—competencies they will carry forward into the Diploma Programme and beyond. Equally important, the process enables students to explore their interests in depth, often helping them identify potential future pathways and areas of passion.
Thank you to all parents, teachers, and community members who attended and contributed to making the exhibition a meaningful and enriching experience.
