Apollo International School, Vasna, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense pride, patriotism and enthusiasm. The celebration began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by our esteemed Chief Guest, Colonel Sachin Tyagi, posted at Headquarters 85 Infantry Brigade, Gandhinagar. As the Tricolour fluttered proudly in the sky, the entire campus echoed with patriotic fervour.
The Chief Guest witnessed the impressive march-past by the newly appointed School Council and the four Houses. In his inspiring address, he paid tribute to the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters and urged students to uphold the values of courage, discipline, unity and responsibility. Our respected Principal, Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh Chauhan, also shared his inspiring thoughts with the gathering.
The celebration was further enriched by the Investiture Ceremony, where the Chief Guest Colonel Sachin Tyagi Sir, Principal Sir and Vice Principal Ma’am ceremoniously adorned the newly appointed Council members with their sashes and badges, marking the beginning of their leadership journey.
Adding vibrancy to the occasion, students of Grades 2 to 8, along with their talented teachers, presented captivating cultural performances celebrating the spirit of India. The energetic and mesmerising performance by our teachers added an extra spark to the celebration and left the audience enthralled with joy and admiration.
The memorable event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by our respected Vice Principal Ma’am, leaving everyone inspired by the enduring spirit of freedom, unity and patriotism. Jai Hind! Jay Bharat!
