As part of ILCC2021 thoughts from industry leaders and experts in AEC Sector and lean construction have been compiled into a series of quotes. The Indian Lean Construction Conference – ILCC 2021 is to be held in Ahmedabad, India from 01 to 04 Dec 2021. The "Workshop Day" at ILCC2021 has three interesting workshop tracks, conducted by lean champions, with an aim to provide hands-on experience and engagement with the power of lean concepts and principles.

The workshop by Zofia K. Rybkowski on “Target Value Delivery” an overview of the purpose of it's working elements, which is part of Lean Integrated Project Delivery (Lean-IPD) system. Topics to be covered include a brief history of Lean Construction, the purpose behind Lean, and exposure to the logic underpinning TVD, as well as some of the tools used during a TVD project. Come prepared for an interactive session.

The workshop by Dr. Bhargav Dave on “ Decoding the Lean in Production Management ” is designed for AEC industry practitioners and academia to highlight the critical factors of “Lean” in Construction Management practices. With the help of digital tools and Lean workflows, the participants will be taken through exercises that will bring to light the essential aspects of driving efficiency through production management – Flow, Value & Waste minimization, towards Continuous Improvement.

His presentation highlights key aspects about Indian Lean Construction Excellence (ILCE) founded in 2008 to promote lean construction in the country.
