World Turtle Day – Color & Conserve!
On May 23rd, our little Goenkans came together to celebrate National Turtle Day with excitement and creativity! Armed with their colorful crayons and paintbrushes, they enthusiastically filled in turtle-themed coloring sheets, bringing these amazing creatures to life with vibrant hues and imaginative strokes. Through this fun and engaging activity, our young learners not only expressed their artistic talents but also learned about the importance of protecting turtles and their natural habitats. With every color they added, they carried the message — "Color Today, Conserve Tomorrow!" — reminding us all that even the smallest hands can make the biggest difference in safeguarding our precious wildlife. 🐢🎨

*World Honey Bee Day Celebration – Nursery Class* 🐝

On the occasion of World Honey Bee Day, Nursery class students enthusiastically participated in a delightful learning activity from home by sharing their pictures dressed as honey bees. They also spoke a few lines about honey bees and the importance of honey while holding creative props.
The activity was fun, interactive, and educational, helping children learn about the significance of honey bees in our environment. The enthusiastic participation and adorable presentations by the Nursery students made the celebration truly special and memorable.

Under the 𝐆𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐆𝐃 𝐆𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐚 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐚, students and parents are encouraged to give plants instead of chocolates, sweets, or other items during birthdays or any special occasion.

Students celebrated their birthday and presented a plant to the school. The Principal blessed the students and 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.

𝐆𝐃 𝐆𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

The Summer Camp for students from UKG to Grade VIII began on Monday 11 May, with incredible enthusiasm and energy at GD Goenka Public School, Agra. The campus came alive with laughter, creativity, sports, and exciting learning experiences.

Students are participating in a wide range of sports activities including swimming, cricket, football, badminton, basketball, skating, and table tennis. Special sessions in rifle shooting and taekwondo are helping children develop focus, confidence, and discipline, while indoor games like chess, carrom, and ludo are enhancing their strategic thinking.

The camp also offers creative activities such as music, dance, singing, drama, art & craft, and clay modeling. Indian and Western dance performances have added extra excitement and joy to the atmosphere. Robotics and activities in the Atal Tinkering Lab have become major attractions for students interested in technology and innovation.

One of the most loved activities is “Kitchen Chemistry,” where children are learning fireless cooking, fun recipes, and interesting food science concepts in an engaging way. The activity encourages creativity, self-reliance, and practical learning.

Principal Mr. Puneet Vashishtha shared that the aim of the Summer Camp is to provide students with opportunities beyond academics, helping them discover hidden talents and achieve holistic development through the perfect blend of sports, art, and technology.

The coming days promise many more exciting activities, valuable learning experiences, and unforgettable memories for the students.
