Jim Corbett Public School Conducts Student Council Selection & Oath Ceremony
Agra: Jim Corbett Public School proudly conducted its Student Council Selection and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the Academic Session 2026–27, marking an important occasion dedicated to developing leadership, responsibility and democratic values among students.
The newly selected council members took a solemn oath to uphold the values and discipline of the school, perform their duties with sincerity, and lead their fellow students with integrity, fairness and compassion. The ceremony reinforced the message that leadership is not merely about holding a position, but about service, accountability and leading by example.
Addressing the newly appointed council, Principal Er. Suhani Chauhan congratulated the students and encouraged them to make their positions meaningful through their actions. She said, “Leadership is not about power; it is about service. A true leader listens, takes responsibility and inspires others through example. पदवी से नहीं, अपने कर्मों से नेतृत्व साबित होता है।”
The Student Council 2026–27 is headed by Head Boy Yug Kushwah and Head Girl Vaishnavi, supported by Vice Head Boy Manan Patwa and Vice Head Girl Yogeshwari.
The other office bearers are Tanmay – Academic Incharge Head; Tanishka – Vice Academic Head; Anjali – Sports Captain; Arul Yadav – Vice Sports Captain; Yashvi Bhadouria – Cultural Captain; Janvi Kushwah – Cultural Vice Captain; Reyansh Singh – Discipline Captain; Astha – Discipline Vice Captain; Sakshi – Environment Head; and Deepika – Environment Vice Head.
The House leadership team includes Ananya Sharma and Divyanshu Kapoor for Jal House; Inderpreet and Sambhav Jadoun for Vayu House; Kajal Tomar and Prince for Agni House; and Laxmi and Ash Chauhan for Prithvi House, serving as House Captains and Vice Captains respectively.
The school management and faculty congratulated all 22 Student Council members and wished them a successful tenure. The ceremony concluded with the young leaders pledging to work together to make the school a more disciplined, inclusive, vibrant and student-driven community.
The occasion reflected Jim Corbett Public School’s commitment to nurturing not only academically capable students but also confident, responsible and compassionate future leaders.
