AI Tools Workshop Successfully Conducted at Agra Public Group of Institutions

Agra, April 6, 2026: The Computer Science Department at Agra Public Group of Institutions successfully organized a one-day workshop on "Mastering in Artificial Intelligence-driven tools & Practical Documentation". The event aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in emerging AI tools & technologies.
The workshop was graced by the esteemed presence of our chief guest, Mr. Ashish Pachauri, Senior Manager, A.I. & Cloud Architect at IBM India Pvt. Ltd.(Swiss Division). He shared his valuable insights into the latest trends in AI, cloud computing, and industry expectations, & inspired students to explore innovative career paths.

During the session, students were introduced to a wide range of AI tools and their real-world applications across various sectors. The workshop emphasized how these technologies are shaping the future job market and creating new career opportunities for aspiring professionals.

Participants actively engaged in the learning process and gained hands-on exposure to learn modern AI tools, which will be beneficial for their academic and professional growth.

The event also witnessed the participation and support from heads of all departments & the faculty members, and students of other departments as well. At the end of the workshop, there was a quick Q/A session in which students enjoyed a lot. The Department of CS expressed its sincere appreciation to all the departments & faculty members for their cooperation in making the workshop a grand success.

We are proud to announce the successful conduct of a Pool Campus Placement Drive for B.Pharm/D.Pharm students on 28th March, 2026 at APGI- Pharmacy.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from leading Pharmaceutical companies, including Sterkem Pharma Pvt. Ltd.(Mumbai); Franklin Laboratories India Pvt. Ltd. (Ludhiana); Snaphar Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. (New Delhi); Hetero Healthcare (Mumbai) & Renanva Pharma (Mumbai).

A total of 46 students participated in the drive, out of which 20 students were successfully selected as Marketing Representatives in various Pharmaceutical companies.

The event was conducted with the dedicated support of Dr. Shraddha Singh Raghav (Associate Professor), Mr. Devkinandan Rajput (Assistant Professor), and Mr. Ninshul Agarwal (Assistant Professor).

एपीजीआई स्पोर्ट्स फेस्ट 2K26 "लक्ष्य" – खेल उत्साह का संगम

आगरा पब्लिक ग्रुप ऑफ इंस्टीट्यूशंस परिसर में वार्षिक खेल महोत्सव APGI Sports Fest 2K26 "लक्ष्य" का सात दिवसीय आयोजन अत्यंत उत्साह और प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक भावना के साथ किया गया। इस बहु-खेल प्रतियोगिता में क्रिकेट, वॉलीबॉल, बैडमिंटन, एथलेटिक्स तथा विभिन्न ट्रैक एवं फील्ड प्रतियोगिताओं में विद्यार्थियों ने जोशपूर्ण भागीदारी की।

इस भव्य खेल समारोह का आयोजन माननीय अध्यक्ष श्री महेश चंद्र शर्मा, माननीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री अभिनव शर्मा, माननीय सचिव श्री अनिकेत शर्मा एवं माननीय प्रबंध निदेशक डॉ. ऋचा शर्मा के दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व में संपन्न हुआ। उनके सतत मार्गदर्शन एवं प्रोत्साहन से कार्यक्रम का सफल एवं सुचारु संचालन संभव हुआ।

उद्बोधन में उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास में खेलों की भूमिका, शारीरिक क्षमता, नेतृत्व कौशल, आत्मविश्वास एवं टीम भावना के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।

कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट मुख्य अतिथियों के रूप में श्रीमती रीना सिंह (पूर्व भारतीय कॉर्फबॉल टीम कप्तान, ब्रज रत्न पुरस्कार से सम्मानित एवं अखिल भारतीय मातृ शक्ति प्रमुख – क्रीड़ा भारती) तथा डॉ. अमित सवत सुब्रतो अंतरराष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल टूर्नामेंट (1994) विजेता एवं इंटर-यूनिवर्सिटी फुटबॉल, बैडमिंटन और टेबल टेनिस प्रतियोगिताओं के प्रतिभागी उपस्थित रहे। दोनों अतिथियों ने विद्यार्थियों को प्रेरणादायी संदेश दिए और प्रतिभागियों की प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक भावना की सराहना की।

सम्पूर्ण आयोजन का सफल समन्वय मुख्य समन्वयक सुश्री आँचल पाहुजा के नेतृत्व में किया गया, जबकि खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का कुशल संचालन खेल समन्वयक श्री संदीप चौधरी एवं श्री राजेश चौधरी द्वारा किया गया।

इस स्पोर्ट्स स्पर्धा में सभी हाउसेस ने बढ़-चढ़कर प्रतिभाग किया और ग्रीन हाउस चैंपियनशिप ट्रॉफी का विजेता रहा।

व्यक्तिगत श्रेणी में भी अनेक विद्यार्थियों ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया, जिन्हें पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह में ट्रॉफी, मेडल एवं प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।

इस अवसर पर सभी आदरणीय निदेशकगण, प्राचार्यगण, विभागाध्यक्ष, शिक्षण एवं गैर-शिक्षण स्टाफ उपस्थित रहे। उनके सक्रिय सहयोग एवं प्रोत्साहन ने आयोजन की सफलता में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

कार्यक्रम का समापन उत्साह, खेल भावना एवं उल्लास के साथ हुआ, जिसने शैक्षणिक उत्कृष्टता के साथ-साथ खेलों के माध्यम से सर्वांगीण विकास के प्रति एपीजीआई की प्रतिबद्धता को पुनः स्थापित किया।

On 24th February 2026, the college successfully organized a One-Day Workshop and Youth Awareness Program on the theme: *“Empowering Youth, Enabling India – Mobilising Youth for a Stronger Bharat” at the College Auditorium.*
Students from the Commerce Department and Arts Department actively participated in the program with great enthusiasm. Chief Guest of the event was Prof. Arun Kumar Raghav (Retd. Professor, RBS College, Agra), The Keynote Speakers were Brig. Vinod Kumar Datta (Director, The Careers Navigator), and Prof. Vir Udbodhan Vishnoi (Retd. Professor, St. John's College, Agra).
Special Guests was Dr. Manoj Kumar Rathore (Director, Pt. Deen Dayal Institute of Rural Development, Paliwal Park, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra), and Dr. Rajpal Singh Chauhan

Management & CS department of Agra Public College of Technology and Management conducted a four days educational tour and Industrial Visit to Dharamshala, Dalhousie and Amritsar. The tour aimed to provide students with a unique learning experience, combining academic exploration with cultural immersion.

The tour began in Dalhousie where students explored the scenic Khajjiar Lake, often referred to as "Mini Switzerland of India," and visited the ancient Khajji Nag Temple. They enjoyed adventure activities like paragliding and horse riding, taking in the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
The tour also included a visit to Dharamshala, where students experienced Tibetan culture and learnt about the history of Dalai Lama and also visited Tibetan Museum. They explored the picturesque Bhagsunag Waterfall.

During this tour industry exposure was also given to CS & Management students to Kochar Infotech and Rudra Impex in Amritsar.

The visit aimed to provide students with hands-on experience and insights into the corporate world.

At Kochar Infotech, students gained knowledge about the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry. They interacted with industry experts, learning about software development, digital marketing, and e-commerce solutions. The students were delighted and overjoyed this dreamy trip.

आगरा पब्लिक टीचर्स ट्रेनिंग कॉलेज की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई द्वारा दिनांक १४.०२.२०२६ को भारतीय युवा एवं खेल मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के तत्वाधान में MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 कार्यक्रम का सफल आयोजन किया गया। MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 का उद्देश्य Union Budget 2026 को लेकर जन सामान्य की समझ को बढ़ाना है, ताकि बजट से जुड़ी प्रावधानों को अधिक सुलभ, प्रासंगिक और नागरिक-केंद्रित बनाया जा सके। यह पहल विशेष रूप से युवाओं पर केंद्रित है और बजट को आम नागरिकों के दैनिक जीवन से जोड़ने का प्रयास करती है |
बहु-चरणीय सहभागितापूर्ण प्रारूप में आयोजित MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 की शुरुआत राष्ट्रीय स्तर की ऑनलाइन क्विज़ से होती है। इसके बाद उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेश स्तर पर निबंध चरण के लिए चयनित किया जाएगा, जहाँ वे Union Budget 2026 के प्रमुख विषयों पर अपने विचार प्रस्तुत करेंगे |
अंतिम चरण में, राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेश स्तर पर चयनित युवा प्रतिभागियों को Union Budget 2026 पर माननीय प्रधानमंत्री के साथ वर्चुअल संवाद का अवसर प्रदान किया जाएगा, जिससे नीति-समझ और सहभागिता को और सुदृढ़ किया जा सके |
कार्यक्रम में छात्र-छात्राओं नें प्रतिभाग कर Union Budget 2026 से जुड़े सवालों के जवाब दिए। सफल विद्यार्थियों को भारत सरकार की तरफ से e- certificates वितरित किये गए। उक्त कार्यक्रम में महाविद्यालय के स्टाफ आदि उपस्थित रहे।

An awareness campaign “एंटीबायोटिक को कहें ना: AMR पर प्रहार”, jointly organized by Dainik Jagran and the Indian Medical Association, was an resounding success today at APGI.

Over 150 school & college students, faculty, and staff members participated enthusiastically in interactive sessions led by Dr. Ankur Goyal, Head of Microbiology at SN Medical College, Agra, and Mr. Lavish Gaur, Brand Manager at Dainik Jagran.

Key highlights included enlightening talks on AMR's global threat, antibiotic misuse prevention, and practical pledges for responsible usage.

As a part of IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026 and under the guidelines of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) & MIC, The Department of Computer Science in Agra Public College of Technology & Management successfully conducted a workshop on 7 Feb. 2026, titled “How to Test Ideas Using AI: Practical Use Cases for AI-Guided Product Management.” The workshop was organized with the objective of exposing students to emerging AI-driven methodologies used in idea validation and product management for innovation. The main speaker of the session was Mr. Lavneesh Gautam, an eminent Global Trainer and Consultant in AI and Scrum, and Managing Director of Edge Agility, London (United Kingdom). The expert speaker shared his valuable insights into how AI tools and frameworks are transforming modern product management practices.
The primary objectives of the workshop were to introduce students to the role of Artificial Intelligence in idea testing and validation, to demonstrate practical AI use cases in product management, to encourage innovation, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students, & to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices.
The session was highly informative and included interactive discussions, making it engaging and impactful for participants. Students from various academic streams attended the workshop.
The Department of Computer Science sincerely appreciates the laudable efforts of Mr. Gyanendra Kumar Gautam for organizing and successfully hosting the entire event.
