*Dance, Expression and Energy Take Centre Stage at Holy Public Junior College*
Holy Public Junior College came alive with rhythm, colour and vibrant energy as it hosted the 8th Late Shri Haresh Tomar Memorial Inter School Group Dance Championship. The prestigious event brought together around 18 prominent schools, providing young dancers an inspiring platform to showcase their talent, creativity and passion for dance.
The championship commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to Goddess Saraswati by Chairman Mr Sanjay Tomar, Co Director Ms Shivika Tomar, School Manager Shreyank Tomar, Principal Ms Sonika Chauhan, and Coordinators Ms Jyoti Sharma and Ms Khushboo Manchanda. Ms Sahaya, the Special Guest, was felicitated on the occasion.
The competition was adjudicated by Dr Vandana Yadav, Founder and Director of Taal Manjari Dance Academy and an accomplished Kathak and music exponent, along with Mr Sandeep Rajput, Founder of Win Dance Academy and a renowned national level dancer and choreographer.
Under the theme тАЬThe Art of MotionтАЭ, the young performers transformed the stage into a vibrant canvas of movement and expression. Their synchronisation, expressions, costumes and energetic choreography captivated the audience and made the selection of winners a challenging task for the judges.
Shivalik Cambridge College emerged as the winner, while Ganesh Ram Saraswati Vidya Mandir secured the Second Position and Shivalik Public School bagged the Third Position. St. MarkтАЩs Public School and Sachdeva Millennium Public School were awarded the First and Second Consolation Prizes respectively.
The students of Holy Public Junior College also delivered a spectacular performance, earning loud applause and appreciation from the audience. Their energetic presentation reflected confidence, creativity and excellent stage presence.
The judges appreciated the participants and highlighted that dance plays an important role in developing confidence, discipline, creativity and cultural awareness among young learners.
Chairman Mr Sanjay Tomar highlighted the positive influence of music and dance in enriching young minds. The event received valuable support from Choreographer Mr Saurabh Kumar Nimal, Music Teacher Mr Narendra Burman, and the Art Department comprising Ms Bhanu Priya, Ms Shilpi Jain and Mr Bobby Kardam, whose creative efforts enhanced the overall ambience of the championship.
Co Director Ms Shivika Tomar appreciated Principal Ms Sonika Chauhan for her leadership and meticulous planning that contributed to the successful event. Principal Ms Sonika Chauhan expressed her sincere gratitude to the distinguished guest, judges, participating schools, students, teachers and everyone associated with the event.
The programme was skillfully compered by Ms Khushboo Manchanda, along with students Ayush Gupta and Mantasha Ahmed, bringing the memorable celebration to a graceful conclusion.
