Every fall people go back to their hometowns to show appreciations to their ancestors for the fall food harvest.
They eat traditional food such as Songpyeon.
Chuseok is celebrated on 15th day of 8th month according to lunar calendar but the exact date change every year.

-- The annual Haman Nakhwa Festival returned Saturday, with a dazzling Korean traditional fireworks lighting up the night sky. Thousands of people surrounded the county's iconic pond at Mujinjeong Pavilion to witness a splendid fireworks display, which is held to pray for the well-being and good year of the people. Nakhwa Festival is one of Haman's oldest and most popular cultural events, where oak charcoal powder wrapped in hanji are set on fire. Balls of fire then fall spectacularly into the pond.
