EMRS Khumulwng successfully organised a One-Day Capacity Building Program on “Promoting Mental Health and Wellness among Students”, conducted by the Centre of Excellence (CoE), CBSE Regional Office, Guwahati.

The insightful session was led by the esteemed Resource Person, Shri Swapan Majumdar, who highlighted various important aspects of mental well-being, with special focus on the unique needs of students in residential schools like ours. The program provided valuable strategies to understand, support, and nurture students’ emotional, psychological, and social health.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from 60 teachers and educators, all of whom shared highly positive feedback, stating that they gained new perspectives, practical approaches, and meaningful insights to better support students’ mental wellness.

We extend our sincere gratitude to CoE, CBSE RO Guwahati and Shri Swapan Majumdar for making this program informative, engaging, and impactful.

We are immensely proud to welcome our talented students back to school after their outstanding participation in the National EMRS Cultural Meet held at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, in December 2025. After securing victories at the State Level, our students went on to represent the state with great pride at the National Level, showcasing their talent, culture, and confidence on a prestigious platform.

Adding glory to the occasion, our students achieved 1st Position in the 2D Painting Competition and 2nd Position in the Tribal Vocal (Senior Group) Event at the National Level — a truly remarkable accomplishment! 🏆🎨🎶

During the morning school assembly, the Honourable Principal extended a warm and respectful welcome to the participants by adorning them with traditional Risha and flower bouquets, celebrating their dedication and success. 🌸🎭

In his address, the Principal Shri Bhabatosh Nathchaudhuri congratulated all the participants and winners and encouraged other students to come forward, nurture their talents, and actively participate in future competitions to bring more laurels to the school.

Today, EMRS Khumulwng had the privilege of hosting an inspiring Motivational Talk and Interaction Session under the initiative of NESTS to guide and motivate our young learners towards a brighter future.

We were honoured to welcome the Branch Manager of SBI, Khumulwng Branch, Shri Padma Debbarma, who addressed our students with his remarkable journey, valuable experiences and motivating life lessons. His words filled the hall with positivity, hope and a renewed sense of determination among the students.

Our respected Principal, Shri Bhabatosh Nathchaudhuri warmly welcomed the guest with a traditional Risha and a beautiful flower bouquet, symbolizing our gratitude and respect.

Such initiatives play a vital role in shaping the mindset of students and helping them dream bigger and strive harder.
We look forward to organising more sessions that enlighten, encourage and empower our learners.

Our school is delighted to welcome back our talented students who participated in the 4th National EMRS Sports Meet 2025, held in Odisha from 11th to 15th November.

Out of 11 participants representing EMRS Khumulwng, 8 students brought home medals across 3 events, making us immensely proud. Their hard work, discipline, and dedication have truly inspired the entire school community.

To honour their achievement and motivate more young talents, Shri Bhabatosh Nathchaudhuri, Principal, EMRS Khumulwng felicitated the students as well as Two Sports Teachers with a Risha, Flower Bookey and a Bag as a small token of love. Seeing their confidence and spirit was a moment of pride for all of us.
