আগরতলা: দক্ষিণ ত্রিপুরা জেলার প্রত্যন্ত গ্রাম হরিণা থেকে উঠে এসে দীপরাজ বসু আজ গোটা রাজ্যের গর্ব হয়ে উঠেছে। NEET ২০২৫-এ ৫৫৮ নম্বর পেয়ে সে অর্জন করেছে GEN-EWS অল ইন্ডিয়া র‍্যাঙ্ক ৯৩৩, যা তাকে ভারতের শীর্ষ সরকারি মেডিকেল কলেজে ভর্তি হওয়ার সুযোগ করে দিয়েছে। এই অসাধারণ সাফল্যের পেছনে আছে একজন মায়ের অদম্য স্বপ্ন, একজন শিক্ষকের প্রজ্ঞা, এবং একজন ছাত্রের নিষ্ঠা ও পরিশ্রমের নিখুঁত মিল।

ছোটবেলা থেকেই দীপরাজের বাবা ছিলেন না। পরিবার বলতে ছিল শুধু মা—দীপালি দে, যিনি দক্ষিণ ত্রিপুরার সবরুম মহকুমার হরিণা গ্রামে ছেলেকে একা হাতে মানুষ করেছেন। সেখানে তিনি ছোট ছোট শিশুদের পড়িয়ে সংসার চালাতেন এবং দীপরাজের পড়ালেখা চালিয়ে যেতেন। যখন সে নবম শ্রেণিতে উঠল, তখন তারা আগরতলায় চলে আসে, যেন ভালো স্কুলে পড়ার সুযোগ হয়। আগরতলায় এসে মা পড়ানোর কাজ না পেয়ে রান্নার কাজ বেছে নেন, যাতে ছেলের স্বপ্নে ব্যাঘাত না ঘটে।

“মা-ই আমার প্রথম শিক্ষক। ওনার নিঃস্বার্থ লড়াই, কখনো না হার মানা মনোভাবই আমাকে আজকের জায়গায় পৌঁছে দিয়েছে,” বলেছে দীপরাজ। তার শিক্ষাজীবন শুরু হয় হরিণার সেন্ট ফ্রান্সিস ডি সেলস স্কুলে, যেখানে জীববিজ্ঞানের প্রতি তার গভীর আগ্রহ জন্মায়। পরবর্তী চার বছর সে আগরতলার শ্রী কৃষ্ণ মিশন স্কুলে পড়াশোনা করে এবং সেখানে থেকেই NEET-এর প্রস্তুতিতে নিজেকে নিয়োজিত করে।

এবছরের NEET ছিল সাম্প্রতিক সময়ের মধ্যে অন্যতম কঠিন, বিশেষ করে পদার্থবিদ্যায়। তবুও দীপরাজ সেই বিষয়ে পেয়েছে ১০০-এর বেশি নম্বর। এই সাফল্যের মূলে ছিল আগরতলার অভিজ্ঞ পদার্থবিদ্যার শিক্ষক রজত স্যার, যিনি নিজে IIT-এর পদার্থবিদ্যার প্রাক্তন ছাত্র। দীপরাজ জানায়, “রজত স্যারের কৌশল, ধৈর্য আর আমার প্রতি বিশ্বাস—এই তিনটি ছিল আমার প্রস্তুতির ভিত। পদার্থবিদ্যাই ছিল আমার র‍্যাঙ্ক নির্ধারক, আর স্যারের দিকনির্দেশনাই ছিল আমার সাফল্যের জ্যাকপট।”

সে এখন শুধু ডাক্তার হতে চায় না, বরং চিকিৎসা গবেষণা ও মেডিকেল শিক্ষার জগতে অবদান রাখতে চায়। তার লক্ষ্য, চিকিৎসাক্ষেত্রে উন্নয়ন এবং বিজ্ঞানচর্চার মাধ্যমে সমাজকে কিছু ফিরিয়ে দেওয়া।

দীপরাজ শুধুমাত্র একজন র‍্যাঙ্কহোল্ডার নয়; সে প্রমাণ—স্বপ্ন যদি যথার্থ হয়, আর পাশে থাকে মা’র আশীর্বাদ ও একজন প্রকৃত শিক্ষকের দিকনির্দেশ, তাহলে কোনো প্রতিকূলতাই সাফল্যের পথে বাধা হতে পারে না।
