The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Techno College of Engineering Agartala, is set to inaugurate the IEI Students' Chapter today in collaboration with The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI], Tripura State Centre, followed by Seminar on "Sustainable Technology : Shaping the Future, Tomorrow".This event shall open a new path - where ideas can take shape, innovation find direction and young minds move closer to the future of technology.

With hearts filled with emotion and eyes shining with dreams, four torchbearers from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering ,Techno College of Engineering Agartala have earned their place at the National Level of 𝐕𝐢𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, to be held on 11th & 12th January in .

From the serene land of , where determination is nurtured quietly, these young minds now step onto a national platform-ready to speak, listen, learn, and lead. Their journey reflects countless hours of effort, unwavering belief, and a burning desire to contribute to the nation’s future. When young minds step beyond textbooks and enter the world of real-time science, learning truly comes alive.
The industrial visit of our Pre-Final and Final Year Degree & Diploma Engineering students to the Indian Meteorological Centre, Agartala, organized by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Techno College of Engineering Agartala, in collaboration with iictcea was successfully completed on 24th November 2025.

From understanding the science behind weather forecasting to witnessing technology at work, the visit offered students invaluable hands-on exposure and a deeper appreciation of how engineering serves society every day.

Today, it was a celebration of passion, talent and youthful brilliance as the students of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering participated in the District Level Youth Festival and Science Mela, organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, West Tripura, in collaboration with Pashchim Tripura Zilla Parishad.

Among the shining stars of the event, 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐲, a 4th-year student, made us incredibly proud by securing the Second Position in the Declamation Competition under the Cultural Track & Innovation category.

Our students stepped forward with innovation, creativity and hard work as they showcased three remarkable projects in the Science Mela:

Each project stood as a testament to the creativity, hard work and determination of our budding engineers.

We are incredibely proud of our students who recently participated in the IEEE MTT-S Broadening Participation Committee (BPC) Engage North-East India Workshop '25. The two-day workshop, held at IIT Guwahati on September 9-10, 2025, focused on the theme 'Spectrum Rising: RF to Millimeter-Wave & Beyond.' This workshop provided our students with an opportunity to gain insights from national and international experts in the field of RF, microwave, and terahertz technologies.
