The inaugural stone of the new building of Vidya Bharati Shiksha Samity Tripura and Tripureshwari Shishu Mandir was unveiled today by Shri Kishor Barman, Hon’ble Minister, Government of Tripura.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Dr. Jagadish Ganchaudhuri, Dr. Sankar Roy, and Shri Yogendra Singh Sisodia, along with other dignitaries, office bearers, teachers and well-wishers.

New Building of Vidya Bharati Tripura State Office and Tripureshwari Shishu Mandir Inaugurated

The newly constructed building of the Vidya Bharati Tripura State Office and Tripureshwari Shishu Mandir, Ramnagar, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm on Sunday, August 23, at 11:00 AM.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Joram Anya, Permanent Member, NITI Aayog, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Jagadish Ganchaudhuri, eminent educationist, attended as the Special Guest, while Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Organizing Secretary, Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra, and Dr. Sankar Roy, National Vice President, Vidya Bharati, were present as Guests of Honour.

The programme was conducted by the students of Tripureshwari Shishu Mandir, who presented the proceedings with discipline and confidence, reflecting the educational values and संस्कार imparted by the institution.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sankar Roy recalled the challenging and painful early days of the organisation and spoke about the immense struggles and sacrifices made by the dedicated workers of Vidya Bharati to establish the school and build the organisation. He highlighted how perseverance, commitment and collective efforts helped the institution overcome numerous difficulties and reach its present stage.

Dr. Pawan Tiwari spoke about the wide-ranging activities of Vidya Bharati and its commitment to providing value-based and holistic education to children. He highlighted the organisation’s efforts towards the overall development of students and its contribution to the field of education across the country.

The dignitaries congratulated Vidya Bharati Tripura on the completion of the new building and expressed hope that the facility would further strengthen the organisation’s educational and social activities in Tripura.

Prof. Milan Rani Jamatia, President of Vidya Bharati Shiksha Samity Tripura, delivered the vote of thanks. She expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, distinguished guests, members of the organisation, teachers, students, parents and all those whose support and dedication contributed to the successful completion of the new building.

The inauguration marked an important milestone in the journey of Vidya Bharati Tripura, symbolising its continued commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and promoting quality, value-based education in the state.

Preparation of 150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram at Tripureshwari Vidyamandir

Event on Vande Mataram was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Tripureshwari Vidyamandir, Gandhigram, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 12:30 PM.

The programme was organised to commemorate the enduring legacy of Vande Mataram and to inspire students with the spirit of patriotism, national pride and devotion to the motherland.

Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Organizing Secretary, Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra, was the main speaker on the occasion. In his address, he highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Vande Mataram and its continuing relevance in nurturing national consciousness among the younger generation.

Dr. Sankar Roy, Dr. Nilmoni Chakraborty and Sri Yogendra Singh Sisodia were also present as distinguished guests.

A major highlight of the programme was the collective singing of Vande Mataram by the students. The students participated with great joy, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour, creating an inspiring atmosphere across the school campus.

A delegation of Vidya Bharati had the privilege of paying a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura today.

The delegation comprised Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Organizing Secretary, Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra; Shri Yogendra Singh Sisodia, Prabhari, Vidya Bharati Tripura; and Dr. Nilmoni Chakraborty, State Co-ordinator, Vidya Bharati Tripura.

During the meeting, the delegation extended a cordial invitation to the Hon’ble Governor to grace the upcoming Vande Mataram Programme, scheduled to be held on 25th September, in which around 1,000 students will participate.

We are deeply honoured that the Hon’ble Governor graciously assured his presence as the Chief Guest at this significant programme.

The visit was marked by warmth, encouragement and a shared commitment towards nurturing national consciousness, patriotism and the spirit of Vande Mataram among the younger generation.
