ASHA (Association for social and Human Advancement) is the official social service wing of the Society of the Fathers of Holy Cross, North East India.
ASHA (Association for Social and Human Advancement) is the official social service wing of The Society of the Fathers of Holy Cross, North East India. The Society of the fathers of Holy Cross has been involving in formal and non-formal education along with the social service, aimed at socio-economic and human development in North East India since 1937. The society runs 15 renowned with educational
institutions and social service centers catering to more than 25 groups of indigenous, community development, leadership training, relief and rehabilitation, animation and formation of self- reliance groups. These were consolidated into Integrated Human Development Programme (HIDP) since 1990. To enhance the non- formal education and development works in this sphere ASHA was established and registered as a Social Service Society in the year 1999 (Regd. No. 3282/99), ASHA is committed and equipped to give specialized training to leaders from cross section of the society to work for a just peaceful and progressive society. PHILOSOPHY AND VISION:
