HOLY CROSS COLLEGE ACCREDITED WITH “A” GRADE BY NAAC
THE FIRST COLLEGE IN TRIPURA TO BE GRADED “A” BY NAAC
NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) Peer Team visited Holy Cross College, Agartala on 29th and 30th August 2017. The results were declared on 12th September 2017. Holy Cross College is graded as ‘A’ Grade College by NAAC. Holy Cross College is the first College in the state of Tripura to receive ‘A’ grade from NAAC. It is not only the pride of the college but it is also the pride of our state to have an ‘A’ Graded English Medium College in Tripura. The Principal, Administration, Management, members of faculty and students are thankful to the Govt. of Tripura, Tripura University, all other stakeholders and beneficiaries for achieving this milestone for the College.
It is a golden day for Holy Cross College which is only 8 years and 2 months old. It is significant to mention here that such a young institution got A grade mainly because of the team work of the management, teaching and non-teaching faculty, students, alumni and parents of Holy Cross College. Currently the College has a total number of 876 students in BA, BSc, BCom, BBA and B.Ed. programs and a faculty strength of 82 which includes 43 teaching and 39 non-teaching faculty. 6 batches totaling 508 students have so far graduated from the College. From July 2017, the College is offering Civil Services and IAS coaching to students of the college and youth of Tripura at the ALS-IAS Coaching Center at the Old Shishu Bihar Complex at Agartala.

Good morning Holy Cross School alumni. I wish to call for a meeting of Holy Cross Past Pupils at Hyderabad on Sunday, September 10th at 6:00 PM. hello HCS Family,
though a late update but I am deeply grieved at the loss of one of our Family member - Saurav Debbarma.

Saurav had his last breath on 6th - well a consequence of his long suffering from multiple kidney failure.
Sometimes Nature fails to justify things - for simple and kind Saurav had to pay the cost of his innocent,disciplined life at a mere age of 20.

He passed out School as ICSE 2011 batch and was a vibrant Mechanical Engineering student at NIT, Agartala.

I request everyone reading this to Pray for his departed Soul and hope his family gets the strength to overcome this loss.

Today is Ma'am Reba's birthday. Do wish her and pray for her.

Holy Cross College, Agartala is now completing almost 4 years of its existence. A farewell program to honor and wish success and happiness to the second batch of seniors will be held on March 12th at 10.00 am. The chief guest for the function will be Prof. Anjan Kumar Ghosh, the new Hon. VC of Tripura University. We will officially welcome him to our college on that day.
