Autism Spectrum Disorder or Autism is a neuro developmental problem in children where the child displays deficits in social communication,makes very little or no eye contact and doesn't engage with other children in group activities. A repetitive and restricted range of behaviour is noted.

No medicine has been found effective for this problem but early and intensive behavioural intervention along with occupational and speech therapy are found to be effective.
