There is a certain kind of unapologetic royalty that only children possess, especially when they are stepping into a classroom for the very first time.

On June 8, 2026, the corridors of Sankara School witnessed exactly that kind of magic as we joyfully welcomed our newest and youngest learners for their first day of Pre-KG.

The morning started with a few hesitant glances and shrill cries, but those quickly melted into laughter as the kids took their initial step toward fun-filled learning activities and brand-new friendships.

The absolute highlight of the day was watching our little ones depart the campus. Adorned with beautiful paper crowns, they walked out with the pride of tiny rulers.

Here is to a magnificent, wonder-filled year of growth ahead!

Hitting a bullseye takes more than just good eyesight; it requires the kind of steady nerves that most of us struggle to find even on a quiet Sunday morning.

Clearly, our very own Vedanth Muthukrishnan from Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School (NIOS) has mastered this art beautifully. Armed with his compound bow, Vedanth recently took the field by storm at the District Archery Tournament in Tiruvallur. Showcasing spectacular aim and unyielding focus in the Under-15 Category, he did not just stop at winning first place, he went ahead and swept the Overall Championship as well! Mastering a compound bow is no easy feat, but Vedanth made it look absolutely effortless.

We are beyond proud of his remarkable discipline and stellar victory. Here is to aiming high and always hitting the mark!

Sometimes superheroes come in a disguise of a fifth grader.

Sankara School is proud to showcase the achievement of our young superhero Ananya Vaidyanath from class 5D who is constantly inspiring us and proving to the world that genuine compassion has absolutely no age limit.

Representing the NGO Goodworks India, Ananya collected used storybooks to build a library for a government-aided school. This fantastic initiative earned her a well-deserved spot in the India and Asia Book of Records! Her incredible dedication to community service has even led to a prestigious nomination for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2026.

She is already onto her next mission. Through 'The SMILE BRUSH Drive,' Ananya has collected 42 artworks and is identifying hospitals where these pieces can bring healing and joy to children and senior citizens. We are incredibly proud of her inspiring heart!

All the best Ananya! May you receive double the happiness you share with others!

Teaching kids to look both ways before crossing the street is parenting 101, but turning road safety into an engaging culture requires a true visionary. We are incredibly proud to announce that our Vice Principal, Ms. Kavitha Anand, has been conferred with a prestigious Certificate of Honour at the National Road Safety Education Excellence Awards 2025-26!

Recognized in the Changemaker Category for Tamil Nadu, this award highlights her dedicated efforts in driving impactful road safety education within our school community. Presented by the International Road Federation and Academia IRMS, and signed by Founder President K.K. Kapila and Project Director Rajni Thakur, this recognition shows how truly inspiring leader Ms. Kavitha is. She is not just steering our students toward academic success, but ensuring their everyday journeys are safe.

Congratulations, Ms. Kavitha!

If we could harness the energy of four-year-olds in their first week of school, we could probably power the entire Chennai. The first week of LKG for the 2026-27 academic year launched with exactly that kind of incredible, unstoppable energy!

Every morning started on the most joyful note with our special "Love Morning Hello" greeting, setting a beautifully positive tone as the students arrived. From there, it was straight to work. The children enthusiastically tackled various fine motor activities, getting their hands busy with thumb painting, bud painting, rice flour tracing, and paper tearing. They even explored fundamental concepts by identifying and sketching "big" and "small" objects, and let their imaginations run wild with creative straw painting. It was a week of happy messes and high energy.

The hardest part about board exams is never the vast syllabus, it is the endless waiting for the results to finally drop. But the wait is over, and the celebrations at Sankara School have officially begun!

Our CBSE Class 10 results are out, and our students have proven that late night revisions and endless practice papers truly do pay off.

A massive shoutout to our school toppers who have set new benchmarks of brilliance: K S P Ash*th (X D) leading with a stellar 494/500, followed closely by Roshini Muthu Kumar (X B) at 492/500, and R K Dheekshanya (X B) sharing the third spot with Shreyas Srivathsa (X D), both scoring a phenomenal 491/500.

Along with that, we also want to congratulate our subject-toppers who secured top marks in individual subjects.
