Pharmacovigilance Professional Certificate Course | Day 2

Students of Srinath College of Pharmacy actively participated in the Professional Certificate Course in Pharmacovigilance, organised by the Institute of Management Sciences and Research, Nagpur.

The session covered ADR Reporting, Signal Detection, Post-Marketing Surveillance, MedDRA Coding, Regulatory & Ethical Frameworks, Practical Case Studies and Oracle Argus Software.

A valuable industry-oriented learning experience empowering future pharmacists with essential skills in drug safety and pharmacovigilance.

Day 5 - Students Induction Programme, Srinath College of Pharmacy

Day 5 of the Students Induction Programme at Srinath College of Pharmacy, Srinath University was conducted successfully with great enthusiasm.

The program began with the address of the Chief Guest, Dr. J. Rajesh, Dean Administration, Srinath University. He motivated the students and spoke about discipline, professionalism, and the role of pharmacists in healthcare.

This was followed by a presentation from Mr. Ajit Kumar Singh, Proprietor, Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra. He shared insights on government healthcare initiatives, the role of Jan Aushadhi Kendras, and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.

Next, an Introductory Session was conducted by the Class Coordinator, who briefed the students about class structure, academic guidelines, and student responsibilities.

After that, Mrs. Shalini Ojha, NSS Coordinator, Srinath University addressed the gathering. She highlighted the importance of social service, community engagement, and the activities conducted under NSS.

The session then moved to interactive segments including a Group Discussion by students and various extracurricular activities, which encouraged participation, teamwork, and confidence among students.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Principal, Srinath College of Pharmacy, followed by the National Anthem, marking the end of Day 5 on a patriotic note.

Overall, Day 5 was informative, interactive, and inspiring for the newly admitted students.

Day 5 of Induction Week | Department of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Zoology

The fifth and final day of the Induction Week was filled with learning, awareness, exploration, and memorable experiences.

Department of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and zoology jointly organised.

The day began with an insightful and engaging session by Dr. Sumit Rastogi, who delivered an interesting talk on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). His session helped students understand the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance, its impact on society, and the importance of responsible antimicrobial use.

Following the academic session, all the students, accompanied by their respective departmental faculty members, visited Tata Steel Zoological Park. The visit provided students with an exciting opportunity to explore biodiversity, wildlife, conservation, and the importance of protecting our natural ecosystems. It was an enjoyable and educational experience that allowed students and faculty to interact beyond the classroom.

As the day came to an end, the five-day Induction Week concluded on a joyful and memorable note, leaving students with new knowledge, new experiences, and wonderful memories of their beginning at Srinath University, Jamshedpur.
