The entire nation today is celebrating Hindi Diwas 2020 today, September 14. Every year Hindi Diwas is celebrated with speeches, awards, and many other events to celebrate the Hindi language. Today on the 50th birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha, Hindi was adopted as one of the official languages of India.

Hindi was adopted as one of the two official languages of the Republic of India by the Constituent Assembly of India. Beohar Rajendra Simha along with Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Kaka Kalelkar, Maithili Sharan Gupt, and Seth Govind Das took an effort to place the Hindi language as one of the official languages of the country.
