Mar Baselios College, situated in Adimaly, owned and managed by Mar Athanasius College Association, Kothamangalam is a Self- Financing College affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The higher education dreams of aspiring young generations of the High Ranges of Kerala have been fructified by starting the College in Adimaly. It is also the realisation of the vision of late Prof. M.P. Varghese, the founder Secretary of the Association who was a pioneer with a missionary zeal in establishing and managing higher educational institutions.
The college started functioning in the year 2003 and is offering B.Com(Computer Application), B.Com (Finance & Taxation), SB.C.A., B.B.A., B.A. English Literature Communication & Journalism (Triple Main), M.Com(Finance) The College has now grown into an educational institution enjoying high reputation.
There is an amazing Rose garden having 400 varieties of roses in our campus that fills the heart with colour and fragrance. Our teachers and students became a role model to the Society by donating their hairs for making wigs for the poor cancer patients as a part of Women’s Day celebrations under the leadership of NSS unit. Film club in our college produced a short film ‘Chayam’ and presented it at different platforms.
