Urgent Appeal: For Dog Adoption
Dog found on Jalandhar Hoshiarpur Highway near Subway Restaurant market on 16/10/2025 with infection in one ear, survived a near hit incident with high speed vehicles, not injured at all. Or someone intentionally leave him on the road side, 2-3 years old.
Now he is very active and relaxed with ongoing treatment for ear infection
Primary treatment done at PFA Shelter Police Lines Jalandhar near bus stand, rest we are doing everything as prescribed.
Temporarily we have kept the dog on a plot under care in dhilwan road, we need a good family who can adopt the dog. But we cannot keep him there for long time, as plot is small, only one small room is there for the plot's caretaker family. 3 side walls and one side is open so we have to keep the dog on chain, so that he will not run away again on road. And caretaker has 2 small kids in his family.
Dog is friendly, know basic commands, becoming more active day by day after treatment.
Initially he was comfortable with me only, not trusting others to give him medicine or treatment. Now with time he is letting the caretakee and his family members touch him, feed him and walk him around a little bit. Still I take care of the medication part.
Can anyone help us to find a right home for the dog. I can help introducing him with the right people who are willing to adopt Or provide a temporary place & food till the adoption. Pending Treatment & Medication we will take care.
Any animal NGO can also come forward to help in free adoption.
