From a Passport to an Adventure: Our Heritage Passport Challenge!
What if learning about India’s heritage, culture, history and diversity could feel like an
adventure?
At St John’s School, Abu Road, we turned that idea into reality with our Heritage Passport
Challenge — and the response was simply phenomenal!
Our young explorers travelled from station to station, passport in hand, completing a
specially designed task at every stop. From discovering UNESCO World Heritage Sites and
Indian monuments to identifying classical and folk dance forms, freedom fighters, states and
capitals, every station brought a new challenge, a new discovery and a new opportunity to
learn.
And yes — every successfully completed task earned them a stamp on their passport, making
the journey feel just like a real expedition!
But behind this seemingly effortless adventure was weeks of planning, designing and
meticulous ex*****on. Every station was conceptualised with a purpose. Every task was
thoughtfully designed. Every passport, placard, clue, activity and stamp was planned down to
the smallest detail. From creating engaging challenges to organising movement from one
station to another, our team worked tirelessly to ensure that learning never felt like a task —
it felt like an experience.
Because at St John’s, we believe that perfection lies in the details.
The smiles, excitement, curiosity and enthusiasm of our students made every hour of
planning worth it. Watching them explore, think, compete, discover and proudly collect their
stamps was the perfect reward for the entire team.
A passport full of stamps.
Minds full of discoveries.
Hearts full of pride.
And memories that will last far beyond the final station.
This competition was a journey through India — and our young explorers made it truly unforgettable!

BRIDGING THE DIGITAL GAP | COMFORT THAT SUPPORTS LEARNING

A computer lab becomes a true learning space when students have not only access to technology, but also a proper and comfortable environment in which to learn.

With this thought, the Management of St. John’s School, Abu Road, in association with the Interact Club of St. John’s School, supported the Computer Lab at Government Upper Primary School, Mordu, by providing 12 stools for students during their computer classes.

Proper seating may seem like a simple requirement, but it makes a meaningful difference. Comfortable and appropriate seating allows students to concentrate better, work confidently at computer stations and make effective use of their practical learning time.

The initiative was carried out in the presence of Interact Club Mentor Dr. Vinod Kumar Mehta, Headmaster Mr. Roopa Ram, and members of the Interact Club Board of Directors.

School Director Mr. K. A. Shyam Kumar and Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam reiterated the school management’s commitment to supporting meaningful educational needs and creating better learning opportunities for children in the community.

Because sometimes, bridging the digital gap begins by simply giving every child a proper place to sit, learn and explore.

WHEN FREEDOM ECHOES, PATRIOTISM RISES!
80th Independence Day | St John’s School, Abu Road
From the solemn Hoisting of the Tricolour to the stirring March Past, St John’s School celebrated Independence Day with pride, purpose and patriotic fervour.
This year, our March Past paid a powerful tribute to the Great Freedom Fighters, with students portraying Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Bhagat Singh, while each House marched to the inspiring slogans of our national heroes.
The campus then came alive with the colours and rhythms of India through a vibrant Folk Dance Competition—from Gujarat’s Garba and Punjab’s Giddha & Bhangra to Rajasthan’s Kalbeliya, Bengal’s Ghumur and Maharashtra’s Gondhal & Koli Dance. One nation. Many traditions. One indomitable spirit.
Patriotic group dances and songs, Jatin Baghel’s inspiring vision of India@2047, and Garvgyan Singh Deora’s heartfelt tribute to our brave soldiers further strengthened the spirit of nationalism.
Through the ELC-SWEEP initiative, Harsh*ta Lohar highlighted the importance of electoral literacy, followed by a collective Voter Awareness Pledge by students and teachers—reinforcing the values of responsible citizenship and democratic participation.
In her inspiring address, Principal Mrs Uma Shyam reminded students that freedom is not merely a legacy to celebrate—it is a responsibility to uphold. Through the stories of young and courageous freedom fighters like Baji Rout, Kanaklata Barua
and Matangini Hazra, she brought alive the extraordinary sacrifices behind our freedom and urged every student to serve the nation through sincerity, integrity and responsible action.
From remembering the heroes who gave us freedom to empowering the citizens who will shape India@2047—St John’s School celebrated Independence Day with true responsibility that comes with it.
Proud of our past. Responsible in our present. Ready for India@2047.

🤖 St. John’s School Inaugurates Integrated Future Skills & STEAM Innovation Hub

A new chapter in future-ready learning begins at St. John’s School, Abu Road with the inauguration of the Integrated Future Skills & STEAM Innovation Hub – Composite Skill Lab.

The facility was inaugurated by Chairman Mr. K. A. Shyam Kumar, Mr. Dilip Mishra and Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam, in the presence of students, teachers and school staff.

Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, NCF-SE 2023 and the CBSE Kaushal Bodh framework, the Hub brings together Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) with Computational Thinking, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Mechatronics and emerging technologies.

🔬 Beyond Textbooks. Into Discovery.

The future-ready learning environment encourages students to question, design, build, test, analyse and improve—turning classroom concepts into hands-on experiences and real-world applications.

From a 17-DOF Humanoid Robot, Hexapod Robot and Multi-Axis Robotic Arm to AI & Computer Vision, 3D Printing, RC Planes, Drones, Mechatronics, Electronics and Embedded Systems, the lab opens exciting avenues for young minds to explore technology through practical learning.

Developed by PADMANABH Innovations LLP, Jaipur, the I-KIT STEAM Lab will enable students to work across exciting domains including Aerospace & Space Technology, AI & Robotics, Future Mobility, Resilient Agriculture, Engineering and Smart Infrastructure.

🌟 At St. John’s, our endeavour goes beyond teaching students to use technology. We want them to understand it, experiment with it, solve problems through it and create innovative solutions with it.

CURIOSITY → EXPERIMENTATION → SKILLS → INNOVATION 🚀

The Innovation Hub marks another important milestone in our commitment to making education experiential, skill-based and future-ready, empowering our students not merely to prepare for the future, but to imagine, innovate and build it.
