पंजाब स्कूल टूर्नामेंट कमेटी – ज़ोन अबोहर द्वारा आयोजित जोनल स्तरीय बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता में सिमिगो इंटरनेशनल स्कूल, अबोहर के खिलाड़ियों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए विद्यालय का नाम पूरे क्षेत्र में गौरवान्वित किया। विद्यालय की टीम ने अंडर-14 बालक वर्ग एवं अंडर-14 बालिका वर्ग में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त कर स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किए, जबकि अंडर-17 बालिका वर्ग में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त कर रजत पदक अर्जित किया। खिलाड़ियों की इस शानदार उपलब्धि ने एक बार पुनः सिद्ध कर दिया कि विद्यालय खेलों के क्षेत्र में भी उत्कृष्टता का पर्याय बन चुका है।

अंडर-14 बालक वर्ग में विद्यालय के प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ियों भाविक, हार्दिक, देवम, अरिहंत एवं आरनव ने अपने उत्कृष्ट खेल कौशल, तेज़ प्रतिक्रिया क्षमता एवं शानदार समन्वय का परिचय देते हुए सभी मुकाबलों में शानदार जीत दर्ज की तथा प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त कर विद्यालय के लिए स्वर्ण पदक सुनिश्चित किया।

इसी प्रकार अंडर-14 बालिका वर्ग में विद्यालय की होनहार छात्राओं अनमदीप कौर, रियाज़, नायरा, अलीना एवं गुलनाज़ ने पूरे टूर्नामेंट में आत्मविश्वास, अनुशासन एवं शानदार तकनीकी प्रदर्शन का परिचय देते हुए प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया तथा विद्यालय को एक और स्वर्ण पदक दिलाया।

वहीं अंडर-17 बालिका वर्ग में विद्यालय की छात्राओं हरनूर कौर, जेसिका, खुशदीप कौर, हेज़ल एवं मनसीरत ने कड़े मुकाबलों के बीच उत्कृष्ट खेल भावना एवं बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करते हुए द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त कर विद्यालय के लिए रजत पदक अर्जित किया। खिलाड़ियों का संघर्ष, समर्पण एवं सकारात्मक खेल दृष्टिकोण सभी के लिए प्रेरणादायक रहा।

A vibrant Solo Dance Competition was organized with great enthusiasm at Simigo International School, providing students from Classes KG to II with a wonderful platform to showcase their talent, creativity, and passion for dance.
The event was a delightful celebration of rhythm, energy, and self-expression, featuring captivating performances in a variety of dance styles. The young participants impressed the audience with their graceful movements, expressive gestures, confident stage presence, and remarkable enthusiasm. Each performance was judged on facial expressions, body language, costume and presentation, and footwork.
The winners were felicitated with certificates and prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances. The organizers congratulated all the participants for their spirited participation, confidence, and sportsmanship.
The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving everyone with cherished memories and celebrating the talent, creativity, and cultural spirit of our young dancers.

Independence Day Celebration & Quiz Competition

SIMIGO International School Celebrates Independence Day with Great Patriotic Spirit!

SIMIGO International School celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The celebration began with a special prayer assembly, followed by an engaging Independence Day Quiz Competition for students.

The quiz covered the Indian Freedom Struggle, National Symbols, the Constitution, the National Flag, the National Anthem, the National Song, and great freedom fighters. The Rapid-Fire Round added excitement, while the Picture Identification Round gave students an opportunity to identify iconic national figures and symbols.

Students also participated in creative art activities, showcasing their talent by making beautiful national symbols. These activities enhanced their knowledge while developing confidence, teamwork, quick thinking, and competitive spirit.

Mrs. Rajni Sharma, Principal, SIMIGO International School, shared that such activities provide students with an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge of India's glorious history while developing essential life skills.

The vibrant campus of SIMIGO International School, Abohar, came alive with imagination, enthusiasm, and boundless creativity as the school successfully organized the English Storytelling Competition for the students of Class III. The event transformed the stage into a world of fascinating characters, valuable life lessons, and magical adventures, where every young storyteller demonstrated remarkable confidence, creativity, and expressive communication.
The competition was organised with the objective of nurturing children's imagination while strengthening their communication skills, vocabulary, stage confidence, and creative thinking at an early age. Storytelling has always been one of the most effective learning experiences, enabling children to express emotions, organise thoughts, develop listening skills, and communicate ideas with clarity. Recognising its educational value, the school continues to provide meaningful opportunities that help students become confident speakers and imaginative learners.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all four sections of Class III. The young participants used attractive props and confidently stepped onto the stage and transported the audience into the fascinating world of stories. Their expressive narration, lively gestures, effective voice modulation, and natural confidence kept everyone completely engaged throughout the event.
The participants presented inspiring stories based on themes such as honesty, kindness, friendship, courage, helping others, environmental awareness, and magical adventures. Each story concluded with a meaningful moral, encouraging values that are essential for building responsible and compassionate individuals. The creative use of props, facial expressions, actions, and dialogue made every presentation more realistic, entertaining, and memorable.
The audience, comprising teachers and fellow students, applauded every performance wholeheartedly appreciating the imagination, preparation, and sincere efforts of the young participants. The atmosphere remained vibrant throughout the competition as each storyteller brought a unique style, personality and interpretation to the stage.
The performances were evaluated on the basis of clarity of speech, pronunciation, voice modulation, confidence, creativity, stage presence, content, expressions, and effective use of props. The judges appreciated the remarkable efforts made by all participants and observed significant improvement in the students' presentation and communication skills.

During Circle Time, our Nursery students had great fun participating in the “Umbrella Action Game.” The children stood in a circle and carefully followed the teacher’s umbrella movements—when the umbrella moved, they moved, and when it stopped, they stopped too!

This engaging and playful activity helped develop their listening skills, attention span, body coordination, and ability to follow instructions, while making learning an enjoyable experience. ☂️😊

SIMIGO International School, Abohar, organised an engaging English Storytelling Competition for the students of Class IV, providing them with an excellent opportunity to showcase their speaking skills, creativity, imagination, and confidence.

The primary objective of the competition was to encourage students to develop effective communication skills, enrich their vocabulary, strengthen their public speaking abilities, and nurture creativity.

Students from all four sections of Class IV participated. They used creative props, narrated a variety of interesting stories with excellent voice modulation, expressive facial expressions, and confident stage presence. Their enthusiasm, preparation, and captivating performances kept the audience engaged throughout the programme.

Teachers and parents appreciated the remarkable confidence displayed by the participants. The event also provided an opportunity for students to improve their pronunciation, articulation, fluency, and presentation skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The participants were judged on clarity of speech, pronunciation, confidence, voice modulation, facial expressions, creativity, content, stage presence, and effective use of props. The judges appreciated the high standard of performances and congratulated all students for their sincere efforts and excellent presentations.
