đź’™ Shabbat Shalom Chabad on the Coast!

In this week’s parsha of Eikev, Moshe promises, that if the Jewish nation fulfills the Torah’s commandments, they will prosper in the Land they are about to settle. Thank G-d, we have all been blessed to continue in our ancestors’ footsteps by settling this Land,. May we strive to strengthen our connection to Hashem, Torah, and Mitzvot and truly prosper in our homeland, Eretz Yisroel.

May this Shabbat be filled with peace, blessings, and joy!

Shabbat Shalom u’Mivorach,
Rabbi Eli & Sara

Shalom Shalom Chabad on the Coast, 🌅

This Shabbat is Shabbat Nachamu, the Shabbat of Comfort. No matter the challenges we face, Hashem’s love for the Jewish people is constant, and every period of concealment is ultimately followed by hope, healing, and renewal.

*Community Update:*
As our COTC family continues to grow, we are making a small adjustment to our seating arrangement to better serve the needs of our community and create a more comfortable experience for everyone.

Beginning this Shabbat, we will be switching the Men’s and Women’s sides:

⬅️ Men’s side: LEFT
➡️ Women’s side: RIGHT

Thank you for being part of our community as we continue building a warm, welcoming, and thriving Chabad house together.

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom U’Mevorach,

Rabbi Eli & Sara

Shalom Chabad on the Coast,

As we prepare for Tisha B’Av, please find our Tisha B’Av schedule attached. Join us tomorrow night for the reading of Eicha at 8:30 followed by soul stirring melodies and words of inspiration.

Tisha B’Av commemorates the destruction of the Holy Temples and is observed as a day of mourning. Some of the main observances are:

🚫🍽️🥤 No eating or drinking
🚫👞 No wearing leather footwear
🚫🚿 Refraining from bathing or showering
📜 Reading from the Book of Eicha (Lamentations)

To learn more about Tisha B’Av and its customs, please visit:

Wishing you an easy and meaningful fast,
Rabbi Eli & Sara

Shabbat Shalom from Sunny TLV!

This Shabbat Chazon, Reb Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev teaches that every Jew is shown a vision of the Third Beit HaMikdash. As we approach Tisha B’Av, this special Shabbat reminds us that we must see beyond the concealment and envision the redemption.

In the spirit of Menachem Av (bringing comfort to our Father), we are honored and blessed to be hosting eight incredible daughters of fallen soldiers this Shabbat at Chabad on the Coast. Please share a smile, a kind word, and the warmth of our community. Your love and support will mean so much to them.

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom Umivorach,
Rabbi Eli & Sara
