Natalia Ryss.
We are all living in a time of war as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Many of us were forced to emigrate from the countries involved in the war: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus. This program contains films by directors from Russia and Belarus. Citizens of Russia and Belarus have been living under a totalitarian regime for years. Some of us, not wanting to put up with the regime, left a little earlier, some were forced to leave in a hurry after the anti-war protests in Russia and Belarus, some fled from mobilization... Directly or indirectly, this is reflected in the selection of the program, the name of which is taken from one of the films of the program ("The F ence"). It sounds in Russian as “Za Zaborom”
