This is an example of a song with a harmonic feel that shifts from major to the parallel minor on the same tonic. Here in the tutorial, I mainly discuss the difference between the verse and the chorus—a difference not only in the accompaniment patterns but also between the primary keys: F major versus F minor, and the use of harmonic degrees borrowed from the minor scale, such as Db, Ab, and Eb.

Mozart Sonata in C major Sonata “Facile”

יצירה מבוקשת מאד בתוכנית 12 השבועות שאותה אוהב ללמד וקצת לקחת רעיונות כאן אני מדבר ספציפית על טכניקת ״בס אלברטי״ שמוצארט משתמש בה בליווי, טכניקה שמפרקת אקורדים לצלילים נפרדים ליצירת מלודיה ותנועה. מוצארט בחר בה במטרה ליצור רצף הרמוני, עם דוגמאות של סיבובי אקורדים כמו C, F, G ו-D7, בנוסף מראה איך מוצרט השתמש באצבועים ספציפיים כדי לבנות ליווי עדין ומדויק.


A highly requested piece in the 12 week program that I love teaching and drawing ideas from. Here, I specifically discuss the “Alberti bass” technique Mozart uses in the accompaniment, which breaks chords into individual notes to create melody and movement. Mozart chose this to build a harmonic progression, featuring chord sequences like C, F, G, and D7. Additionally, I show how Mozart used specific fingerings to craft a delicate and precise accompaniment.

A highly requested piece in the program is Mozart’s little Sonata No. 16, which was designated for beginners by Mozart himself, who was 32 years old at the time. It turns out the piece was first published in 1805, more than ten years after his death.
Here in the tutorial, I discuss the musical structure of the piece, the opening, and the opening exposition that includes the famous first theme, featuring a scale-based melodic theme that leads us to the dominant (G major). I also explain the integration between the melodic and harmonic aspects throughout the entire piece.⁩

איך האקורד החצי מוקטן נבנה לעומת אקורד מוקטן רגיל שכולל ארבעה צלילים , ומדגים עם דוגמאות של C ו-G חצי מוקטן.

A tutorial where I briefly explain what the half-diminished chord is and its common notations.
I explain what a half-diminished chord is, how it is constructed compared to a regular four-note diminished chord, and demonstrate with examples of C and G half-diminished.
