Meet Aleks Salkin, our Ambassador of the Month! 🏆🇮🇹

If you’ve spent time at our Italian table, chances are you’ve met Aleks- language lover, passionate learner, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping others build their confidence in Italian.

For Aleks, languages are more than a hobby. They’re a way to keep learning, connect with people, and open up new worlds. 🌍

Thank you Aleks for the energy, curiosity and enthusiasm you bring to our community! 💜

Swipe to get to know him better ➡️ (including his very Italian choices for favorite drink and favorite word 😂☕).

You don’t need to be fluent to speak a language.

You need a few words, a little courage, and someone willing to listen while you figure out the rest. 😅

That’s how a language slowly stops being something you’re learning- and starts becoming something you speak.

Join the Fluent Community and see where language takes you ✈️

A little Fluent Community update! 💛

After an amazing time as our Community Lead, Ye’ela is passing the torch to Ben! 🔥

Ye’ela, a HUGE thank you for everything you’ve brought to Fluent- your energy, your care, your warmth, and all the heart you’ve put into making this community what it is. We’ve been so lucky to have you leading it, and of course, you’ll always be part of the Fluent family. 🫶

And now, the torch is being passed into very good hands. 😎

If you’ve been to our events recently, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Ben- and we’re super excited to officially welcome him as our new Community Lead! 🎉

Ben, we can’t wait to see what you bring to this next chapter of the Fluent community. ❤️

To new beginnings, new connections, slightly chaotic Saturday nights, and Fluent memories to come. 🌍🥂

More than 300 people came to practice languages with us this August! 🥹🌍

People coming from all over, speaking different languages- and somehow, by the end of the night, it all just feels like one big community. 💛

And honestly, this is exactly why we love the Fluent community so much.

Thank you to everyone who came, practiced, made mistakes, met someone new, brought a friend, or came alone and left with new ones 🫶

And if you missed out in August- we’re doing it all over again this Saturday, September 5th! 👀

By the way- if you’re becoming a Fluent regular (we see you 👀), our Frequent Fluent Cards are the best way to join us again and again- for a much better price per event. 💛

Come speak some languages with us. We’d love to see you there 🌍💬

Over the last few years, we’ve been lucky to partner with some amazing organizations and companies that truly invest in their people- and Natural Intelligence is definitely one of them. 💛

Through several Hebrew Ulpan courses, we’ve had the chance to accompany their international employees on their Hebrew journey, watching them build their skills and confidence along the way. 💪🏼 🗣️ 🫶🏼

A huge thank you to Natural Intelligence for trusting us, to all the students for their hard work, and to our wonderful teacher Inbar, who led the groups with so much energy, dedication and care.

Very proud of this journey- and of these graduates! 🎓✨

Making friends as an adult is weirdly hard.

Apparently, putting a bunch of people around a table and telling them to speak Portuguese helps. 🤷‍♀️

See you Saturday. 💜

Meet Seif Khalil, our Ambassador of the Month! 🏆

Seif is one of the wonderful people who makes our community what it is.

For Seif, being an Ambassador is about more than helping people practice Arabic. It’s about bringing people and cultures closer together. 🌍

Thank you, Seif, for bringing your language, culture, energy and heart to our community. 💜

Swipe to get to know Seif a little better ➡️ and come practice Arabic with him at one of our next Language Exchange events! 🗣️

“I moved to Israel a few months ago, and everyone speaks English with me... so I never get to practice my Hebrew!”

״למדתי ספרדית בדרום אמריקה, אבל מאז שחזרתי לארץ אין לי עם מי לתרגל ושכחתי הכול!״

“I used to speak French, but I haven’t practiced in years, so I’m slowly forgetting it...”

״אני מבינה אנגלית, אבל אין לי ביטחון לדבר, ואני אף פעם לא מתרגלת.״

We hear versions of these sentences all the time. 🤕

And that’s exactly why we created our Language Exchange Events. 💪🏼

Learning a language isn’t a one-time achievement- it’s about consistently using it. Practicing with native speakers is what keeps a language alive and keeps your speaking muscle strong. Especially with a drink 🥃😉

So if you’re tired of saying, “I used to speak...”, “I wish I had someone to practice with,” or “I understand it, but I don’t speak it,” come join our community. We’d love to meet you. ❤️

Here are a few moments from our last Language Exchange Night. 📸

Our next event is this Saturday! Who’s joining?
