Thanks to Manna Center Program’s Scholarship, after a long and hard work Naama Wagner (Ph.D. Student, studying under the supervision of Prof. Tal Pupko in the Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research, Tel Aviv University) recently published a paper describing Effectidor: an automated machine-learning-based web server for the prediction of type-III secretion system effectors.

We do not need a special day to praise and applaud the FEMALE researchers, students, lab members, technicians, faculty members and all the amazing women of the Faculty of Life Sciences, because we strive to do it every single day!
Here are a few of the resent published researches that deserve to receive a spotlight today, because of the women of the faculty, who are at the forefront of science, motivated to find cure for diseases, and all the amazing team members that stand behind those women.
So if your girls are dreaming of saving the world when they grow up, give them the tools to do so and send them to us!
אנחנו לא באמת צריכות בפקולטה יום מיוחד על מנת להרים לחוקרות, תלמידות המחקר, עובדות המעבדה, הטכנאיות, נשות הסגל וכל הצוות הנשי המדהים שהוא הפקולטה למדעי החיים, כי אנחנו משתדלות כאן להרים להן כל יום!
ובכל זאת קבלו זרקור לכמה מהמחקרים האחרונים והמשפיעים שפורסמו, שבראשן עומדות הנשים של הפקולטה, נשים שעומדות בחוד החנית של המדע, שמתגייסות למציאת פתרונות למחלות, ולכל הצוותים המדהימים והמדהימות שעומדים ועומדות מאחוריהן. אז אם הילדות שלכן חולמות להציל את העולם כשיהיו גדולות, תנו להן את הכלים לעשות זאת ותשלחו אותן אלינו!
