In the unseen world of the undercover Israeli-Palestinian conflict A team of Israeli special forces and their female Gazan collaborator are trapped behind enemy lines. Their leader is wounded, and their accomplice might turn out to be the real danger after all. Can they survive long enough until rescue arrives?

Congratulations to all the winners of Webisode Festival.

What can we say?

We had the most amazing experience we could have ever wished. Thailand short film competition flew us to Thailand, one of the most beautiful countries in the world and challenged us to make a short movie in just 4 days. A challenge we were more than happy to take, but a challenge nonetheless.

Luckily, in Thailand we met Kritanu Manokam who is not only our best friend for life but also a super talented and super professional producer who did not just help us get everything we needed for the movie (actors, locations, and food!) but also made sure we would have fun and survive to tell the tale.

We decided to tell a modern take on the Lady Tani tale (played by the beautiful and talented Bua P. Elizabeth who is now also our best friend for life BTW), it’s a known folklore in Thai culture about a beautiful spirit that helps men in need, but if they betray her… well just don’t betray her. Kritanu Manokam helped us a lot creating the tale and making sure, we were staying true to the source.

The all film was shot in Trang (one of the most southern provinces in Thailand) which turned out to be a true challenge with its strong sun and hot weather, but we persevered and made the film nonetheless (you can check it out at the bottom of the post).

Unfortunately, we did not won in the competition but we feel we won with this once in a lifetime opportunity to test our filmmaking skills in a foreign country. We feel extremely lucky have met all those wonderful people who entered our hearts during the journey (not a simple thing to do!) and enjoy probably one of the most incredible countries in the world in a way few people get to experience.

Thank you very much Thailand! You were crazy fun and to all the other competitors: you were incredible! Please, check their short films and get a glimpse at our journey in Thailand.
