Workshop Cocoa Epiphany at Amma Chocolate. Brazil

CHoKolaH is a factory in Brazil that makes chocolate from organic fine cocoa beans. All chocolates have a low sugar content and a high cocoa content, and the cocoa is planted by small farmers in the Xingú River region, in the Amazon, who take care of not only the cocoa, but also the forest. The Tuerê settlement, in Novo Repartimento, Pará, Brazil, has been strengthening cocoa production. The cocoa in this bar was produced by João Evangelista, a cocoa producer from the Tuerê settlement won a silver medal in the biggest global award in the segment, the Cocoa of Excellence program, and was among the 50 best cocoas in the world.

Cooperativa Agrícola Cafetalera San Antonio Limitada (COAGRICSAL) is an organization of small producers and producers of Coffee, Cacao, and Pepper in Central America, it is located in the western part of Honduras, specifically at km 93, the international highway to La Entrada Copán, Founded in 1998 with 32 associates, it currently groups more than 1,500 small producers in different areas. This bar was made by The Organic Hoise, it is a handcrafted bean to bar Chocolates that are Organic, Vegan, Dairy/Gluten Free, Clean Eating, Ethically Sourced/Direct Trade and Traceable located in Ontario, Canada

Pastry chef and chocolatier, Janice Wong, has brought her world-famous edible art to Singapure. Wong Pure Imagination is a multi-product and multi-channel confectionery brand that creates to inspire where art meets design and design meets art, where one can use their imagination to create, interact and discover.  Pure Imagination is an adventurous exploration of cacao dreamed up by award-winning Chef-Artist , working directly with farmers in cacao-rich regions to source, process and blend an exclusive batch of bean-to-bar chocolate,these are true artisanal products.

Event Schedule

It's a startup event in 24-hour for developers, designers and entrepreneurs.

* At the event you’ll get a chance to hack on your latest idea.
* Participants are able to either present their own concept and form a team around it or join forces with someone else.
* Over the 24-hour, you will be putting the foundations of a business case, designing and building a product prototype.
* You will have access to over ten industry experts and mentors who will help you bring your ideas to life.
* The grand finale of the event will take place on Friday at 4 pm, where you and your team mates will get a chance to pitch the results of your 24-hour work to a panel of amazing judges.

Thursday May 19th

4-5 pm - Registration

5.30 pm - Welcome & Speakers - Review agenda for the upcoming 24 hours

6-7 pm - Entrepreneurs session - Panel (Personal stories of how they developed their ideas)

7 pm - Idea Presentations (1 min/each)

8.30 pm - Light Refresment

9 pm - Begin work - Mentors sessions / Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the team. Sharpening your idea with coaches and then continue working
