MA Conflict Resolution and Mediation at Tel Aviv University

Yesterday we took our MA Conflict Resolution and Mediation students to the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) for Gaza. The center runs the Gaza operations for the IDF, US military and civil organizations including flow of aid, coordination of debris removal, mapping infrastructure needs, tracking unexploded ordnance and working towards rebuilding Gaza for Palestinians. We met with Special Operations IDF Officer for the Gaza Strip who gave the group an overview of the facility and the challenges they have encountered. We also had Eliav Benjemin from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel come speak with the group on political next steps regarding Gaza.
