EMIS MUN

EMIS MUN EMIS MUN is the official page for the Eastern Mediterranean International School's MUN website. Keep up with our activity!

MUN is a simulation of the United Nations and is a globally-known extracurricular program active in most nations. The program is aimed at improving public speaking, leadership, creativity, teamwork and many other skills. MUN prepares individuals to face the world, as dangerous and unknown as it might be, by promoting them to find solutions to current world issues as well as keep up to date with important events. Aside from the skills mentioned above, MUN is aimed at increasing awareness on global issues as well as peaceful conflict resolution. The program allows participants to hone the skill of looking at the world from perspectives not their own and then defending those views in a formal debate. Finally, the MUN team hopes to attend more and more conferences abroad as well as local.
