The First International Conference on Forgiveness and Forgiving within an Inter/Intra Cultural Perspective

Call for papers & Save the date!
The First International Conference on Forgiveness, within an Inter/intra cultural perspective, is launching its call for papers.
The call is directed to scholars, experts and practitioners in relevant fields with the following themes:
Forgiveness, the forgiving and or the forgiven person within an intra/intercultural context.
Forgiveness has countless cultural manifestations. It is relevant to the progress of criminology, victimology, positive criminology, restorative justice and conflict transformation. The term has been elaborated in the fields of psychology, sociology, anthropology, moral philosophy, religion studies and spirituality practice, ethics, legal studies, economy and more. The topic entangles a variety of developments of what "forgiveness" may imply.
The aim of the conference is to explore the variety of meanings of forgiveness, the benefits or risks that can come from the act, for both those that forgive, and for those who have been forgiven.
The conference is hosting some of the leading lights in the field of forgiveness. The speakers attending will include both academics and lived experience with whom we will strive to deepen our understandings of the concept.
