The other day, one of the kids I tutor, told her mother that she’s happy she has lessons with me ❤️

They were learning long division in math class and she didn’t understand how the teacher explained it, but she already knew how to do it.

She was saying how she finished faster than everyone else and how she’s now the smartest kid in her class. 👏

This is from a girl who, when we first started, didn’t want to go to class because she thought she was “stupid” and “hates math”.

Your kid is not stupid, they just need someone to explain it better! ✨

~ A little update ~

This morning, one of my students asked me for our lessons to be longer.

This student has been showing AMAZING progress!
She has literally gone from not knowing the alphabet to beginning to read all within 2 months!!! 👏🏆

She told me she loves studying with me and wants our lessons to be longer. Of course, it is up to her parent whether the lessons will be longer but her asking me made me so happy!

Also today, I opened a very cute voice message from a past student. A 4 year old, telling me how he misses me. 😭❤️

I was obviously in (happy) tears.

As hard as any job is, little things like this make it all worth it!
