Too meaningful not to share. RIP HRH thank you for your service.

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

Sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it.

🚨Big guest expert alert! 🚨It’s an honour to welcome back Magnus McCullagh for ‘Grammar Greatness and Punctuation Perfection’.

So many of my students struggle with nailing the rules of grammar and sentence construction. Magnus is my go-to expert on all grammatical queries and we have designed this course to not only make grammar less boring, but to make it serve children's creative writing. This is a development of a shorter course we ran with Magnus in 2021, to great success.

Magnus is an award-winning screenwriter, a highly reputable tutor of over 10 years and a longstanding collaborator with LinkyThinks. He has guided countless students towards success in 11+, 13+ and GCSE.

This 6 week course will be running every Saturday, starting 14th of May.

Fancy having your mind blown? Loads of our everyday English words come from mistakes in pronunciation over the generations. It’s called ‘misdivision.’

🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Note: I was excited to include the word ‘orange’ which I thought used to be ‘a norange’ before being misdivided into ‘an orange.’ But sadly, this isn’t true. Although it comes from the Hindi, ‘narangi’ (and then ‘naranja’ in Spanish/‘narencia’ in Italian), it actually lost its ‘n’ when it became ‘pomme d’orenge’ in France before it came to England and became ‘orange.’
