Het Centrum voor Onderzoek naar de Geschiedenis der Nederlandse Joden nodigt u uit voor een presentatie over het archief van Opperrabbijn Aharon Schuster z"l. (presentatie in Ivriet)

Schuster functioneerde in Nederland tot 1971 en emigreerde daarna naar Israel.
In de presentatie worden de belangrijke onderwerpen besproken die in het archief voorkomen waaruit men kan zien wat een belangrijke rol O.R. Schuster gespeeld heeft in Nederland bij de wederopbouw van het na-oorlogse Jodendom en zijn invloed ook vanuit Israel op het Nederlandse jodendom en op de Nederlanders die in Israel wonen en hem heel veel halachische vragen stelden.

שוסטר כהן באמסטרדם מ 1971-1955 ואחר כך עלה ארצה.
בהשקת הארכיון יוצגו הנושאים העיקריים שהם חלק מהארכיון וניתן לראות עד כמה הרב היה מעורה בשיקום שארית הפליטה של יהדות הולנד אחרי השואה והשפעתו החשובה גם אחרי עלייתו על יהדות הולנד ועל ההולנדים בארץ שפנו איליו בשאלות הלכתיות רבות.
