Our amazing trip kicked off with a visit to Beit She'arim, the home of Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi. Mazal tov to our students who made a siyum mishnayot there! Next was a stop in Zippori, the home of the Sanhedrin.
Meanwhile, our students who are heading to Poland visited Megilat Ha'Aish today in preparation for their trip, and shared family stories.
Mazal tov to the MTVA students who made a siyum on Masechet Taanit this morning! כן ירבו 🥳👏📖

Today, we kicked off our Southern Tiyul!
We left our phones behind we for 3 days and headed to the Dead Sea. We visited the Visitors' Center and learned about the early Zionists who developed the methods to extract minerals from the Dead Sea. Then we hiked up Har S***m and read the Tanach story of Lot in S***m while looking at the place where it took place! We can't wait to continue this trip - disconnecting from our phones and connecting to our friends and our Land ❤️
This week half of MTVA took our learning out of the Beit Midrash and to Kibbutz Ein Hanetziv. We spent all of our mornings farming. We picked weeds, olive branches, went tomato picking, and worked on a mango farm. We then headed back to the kibbutz to experience kibbutz lifestyle in the afternoon and had many classes learning from our teachers and fellow students who gave chaburot. Every night we made our own dinners and had night activities such as capture the flag and bonfires. We spent an incredible shabbos at Ein Hanetziv and learnt so much about israeli lifestyle on a kibbutz!
Wishing a huge mazel tov our madricha, Deena Coronel on officially making Aliyah today 🇮🇱🇮🇱 we wish you so much success and happiness on this new part of your journey. 💙🤍, your MTVA family
