The Civil Commission on October 7 Crimes by Hamas Against Women and Children has published its landmark report, the result of more than two years of painstaking investigation.

The findings are unambiguous: sexual and gender-based violence was systematic, widespread and an integral part of the October 7 attacks and the captivity that followed.

The Commission analyzed over 10,000 visual items, conducted more than 430 filmed testimonies with survivors, hostages and first responders, and documented 13 distinct patterns of abuse affecting victims from 52 nationalities.
