For the last fifty years, Neve has played a major role in Jewish women's education, creating a revolution in Jewish communities worldwide. Whether she comes with little or no knowledge of Judaism and Jewish customs or has a strong Jewish education, every student can find a challenging program at Neve. Our mission is to prepare the next generation of Jewish leadership. As we look at the thousands of Jews gathered at the Kotel, standing together in tefillah, may we feel the incredible strength of Am Yisrael.

May this Yom Kippur bring forgiveness, healing, shalom, and brachos to each and every one of us. May all our tefillos rise to shamayim, and may we be inscribed and sealed for a year of good health, happiness, and yeshuot.

Last night, the Kotel was filled with the sounds of hundred upon hundreds of people coming together to daven, reflect, and prepare their hearts for Rosh Hashanah.

Among them were some of our Neve students, experiencing one of the most powerful sights of Elul, standing together at the Kotel, surrounded by so many people praying praying for the upcoming year.

You know Rosh Hashana is getting close when the sound of the shofar starts echoing through the halls of Neve!

Every year, just before Rosh Hashana, Rabbi Liff walks through the halls, shofar in hand and begins blowing the shofar. Suddenly, it really feels like Rosh Hashana is almost here.

It’s one of those little Neve traditions that our students experience and our alumnae remember. Years later, that sound can bring you right back to those halls in Jerusalem.
