We offer a חוויה ישראלית chavayah Israelit, Israeli experience, in the רוח ruach, sprit, of the Ramah camping movement to English speaking children in grades K-8. We offer campers בחירה bechirah, more choices of פעילויות peulot, activities, such as Hebrew, Ivrit; dance, rikkud; sports; swimming, brecha; drama; omanut, art; shira, music and singing; and tzofiut, scouting. Our peulot are run by specialist instructors with expertise in the field. Ivrit, Hebrew is a natural part of the experience of camp in Israel, and is integrated organically into daily activities for campers with all ranges of previous Hebrew language exposure. Our program has been redeveloped with the help of Amy Skopp Cooper, National Associate Director of the Ramah Commission, and 17-year director of the wildly successful Ramah Day Camp in Nyack. Field trips have been expanded to include hikes in the beauty of Israel, and similar experiences campers couldn’t have outside of Israel, or on the weekends with their families. The well being of campers is our number one concern. We make sure that each camper is healthy, content, happy, and secure within our private, enclosed campus. Come and be part of the ultimate Jewish summer camp in Jerusalem: The Ramah Jerusalem Day Camp! The Ramah Jerusalem Day Camp is a project of Ramah Israel, a division of the National Ramah Commission, which operates under the educational and religious supervision of the Jewish Theological Seminary.
