The Sacred Heart Returns to Notre Dame - Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center As Notre Dame prepares to bless a new statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we reflect on the meaning of this devotion, its place in the spirituality of Regnum Christi, and its historic connection to the Center through the former Sacred Heart Chapel.

As a Pontifical Institute at the service of the Church in the Holy Land, the Pontifical Institute Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center was honored to welcome Sister Simona Brambilla, Prefect of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, and Sister Tiziana Merletti during their visit to Jerusalem.

On June 2, Notre Dame hosted an evening that brought together consecrated men and women from across the Holy Land for reflection, dialogue, and prayer, followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist presided over by Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve as a place of encounter, communion, and support for the religious communities of the Holy Land.
