We are sorry to inform the passing of Richard Blum, at the family home after a long battle with cancer. Richard was a devoted man to his work, family and friends. He improved every organization, agency, program that he touched. His generosity will live on in The Blum Lab for Developing Economies which he founded here in Jerusalem, Israel.
We send our deep condolences to his Family.

Meet our Fellow of the Week:

Adi Trigger
Placement Organization: Ministry of Finance, Israel ​

Bio: Adi holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tel-Aviv University. She is also in the stages of completing her master’s degree in Law and Sustainable Development from Milano University. This program focuses on economic, environmental, and social development as well as advanced interdisciplinary knowledge of local, international, and transnational trends and strategies for sustainable development. Adi worked as a senior security officer in the Israel Government Tourist Office in Italy. Her work included, inter alia: Strategic Consulting for the executive team in Israel; Forming strategic relationships with the Italian Security Services; and Event Planning, including Staffing and Management

Thaddeus Ochieng
Placement Organization: Eshet Ellon, Israel & ​​Strathmore ​University​, Kenya​

Bio: ​Thaddeus holds a B.Sc. degree in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University. He will be working on operationalizing his blended finance model for cold storage and packaging of Avocados in Kenya.
