כנס ון ליר לחינוך נועד לעודד שיח מקצועי בין אנשי חינוך, אנשי אקדמיה, נציגים מן המגזר השלישי וקובעי מדיניות מתחומים מגוונים וממקומות שונים בארץ ובעולם. שיח זה מתקיים בכנס במגוון אופנים: סדנאות, קבוצות עבודה, בימות חינוך וכנס פתוח לקהל. בכנס 2012 הוחלט לעסוק בשני מושגים המאפיינים את הדילמות החינוכיות במאה ה-21 : רגולציה ואמון. The Van Leer Education Conference is intended to encourage professional dialogue among educators, academics, representatives of the Third Sector, and policymakers from diverse areas and places in Israel and abroad. At the conference, the dialogue takes on many forms: workshops, working groups, educational forums, and a symposium open to the public at large. The 2012 conference will focus on two concepts that are characteristic of the educational dilemmas of the twenty-first century: Regulation and Trust.
