Beit Halochem centers are located in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem and Be’er Sheva. Another future center is in the planning stages for Ashdod. These centers serve the veterans and their families by providing sports, rehabilitation and recreation. They also provide a place where the disabled veterans can undergo the various physiotherapy and hydrotherapy treatments, which many will need as long as they live. Here they can participate in sports activities suited to their individual disabilities. Most centers house an auditorium, multipurpose gymnasium, classrooms, fitness rooms, swimming and hydrotherapy pools, an occupational therapy unit, physical therapy unit, cafeteria, offices, and a social wing. The centers are natural support systems. The deep relationships
formed are crucial to the rehabilitation process. They feel understood without even saying a word.
