AV: HEAR THE FATHER AND ARISE

We have entered Av, the fifth month of the biblical calendar. In Scripture, it is most often referred to simply as “the fifth month.” Its name is closely connected to the Hebrew word av, meaning “father.”
Av is therefore an invitation to draw near to the heart of Abba—to quiet the competing voices around us, discern His voice with greater clarity, and rise in response to what the Father is speaking.
