Yesterday we elected a new executive board and officers. We want to take this opportunity to thank the current e-board for everything they have done!

We are all very excited to welcome our newest sweetheart, Alyssa Garvin, to the family!

Alyssa is a sophomore from Greenfield, Massachusetts. She is a biomedical engineering major and is involved in field hockey, MERT, and is an RA.

In light of recent events, we want to remind campus that we are an organization that proudly promotes Jewish values and protection of the Jewish people. The event in Pittsburgh is an undeniable hate crime that has no place in our country and community. Anti-Semitism has no place on our campus and we will not be complicit when it rears its head. As a reminder, if you as a Jew on the UR campus ever feel unsafe or have witnessed Anti-Semitism, all of us are here to listen with open ears. We are more than willing to both have a discussion and confront the problem head-on.

Our thoughts are with the Pittsburgh victims, families, and communities. May their memory be a blessing.
