The Leir Peace Pre-school at the JIY was founded in 1981 and today is under the leadership of director Alexandra Klein-Franke.
Its staff of 25 trained Arab and Jewish teachers provide a warm home-away-from-home for approximately 100 children. The Erna and Henry Leir Peace Pre-school at the Jerusalem International YMCA is a loving and caring environment for children aged 1-5 years.
