Grade 5 students at Phyllis Jowell Jewish Day School in Cape Town were excited to meet Rabbi Reuven Spolter in-person during his visit to South Africa. They know him as the Rabbi on the screen presenting the Kitah Mishnah course, which is a popular part of their Kodesh curriculum. The students were beyond excited to meet him in person!

Our tradition is thousands of years old but today’s students are more demanding than ever. When we understand why chavrusa learning works, what machlokes teaches us about intellectual honesty, and how chazara builds genuine mastery, we become more intentional, more effective teachers.
"Classic Strategies for Today's Kodesh Classroom" is a 10-week online course designed to help Kodesh teachers do exactly that: connect ancient wisdom to modern students in ways that are meaningful, structured, and deeply rooted in our tradition.
🗓️ Starts April 26 | Taught by Sarah Golubtchik, Herzog Global's Director of Educational Innovation & Development
